Haaland struck five times, De Bruyne assisted four times. Manchester City beat Luton 6:2

Manchester City are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Haaland scored five goals in a crazy shootout at Luton, with Kevin De Bruyne assisting four of them. On the home side, Jack Clarke’s two-goal haul has to be commended.

Citizens took the first chance of the game, after a pass from Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland had an easy job from the small area. Carlton Morris could have quickly equalised at the other end, but he failed miserably in a similar position.

On the other hand, Haaland celebrated again after a quick break, finishing between Tim Krul’s legs. Although the home side dominated possession after half an hour, they were not dangerous in front of the opposition goal.

Then goalkeeper Krul finally got a good save, but in the 72nd minute he fished the ball out of the net for the sixth time. Mateo Kovacic shot from the edge of the box just under the crossbar. The match was already over and the Citizens triumphed 6:2.
