Haaland: Milosevic told me he was going to break my legs

Erling Haaland was once again the centre of attention during Norway’s match against Sweden. After the Norwegian national team’s 2-1 victory over Sweden in the Nations League, the striker was not only the star of the match, but also part of the dispute with Alexander Milosevic.
On Sunday, Erling Haaland fired the Norwegian national team to victory for the second time in just four days. After his golden goal at 1: 0 in Serbia, he even scored twice in the 2: 1 win over arch rivals Sweden.
After the final whistle, however, the number one topic was not his goal, but a dispute with Swedish defender Aleksandar Milosevic.
“First he called me a d**k. And I can say for sure that I am not,” Haaland described the beginning of his dispute with Milosevic in an interview with TV2.
“Then he said he was going to break my legs. A minute and a half later, I scored. That was nice,” Haaland smiled at his duel with the Swedish defender.
The Norwegian celebrated his second goal at Friends Arena in front of Milosevic and then told the Swedish fans to be quiet.
Haaland accused of lying
Milosevic accused Haaland of lying after the game and denied the insults to the Aftonbladet newspaper.
“I didn’t say that. What he says is quite rude because I don’t speak Norwegian and he doesn’t speak Swedish, so I don’t even know how we are supposed to communicate,” said the defender, who downplayed the argument with the superstar.
The defender also claimed that there was no tension between them on the field during the match and that they did not speak English during the game.
Haaland never shies away from confrontations on the pitch, which could help him in his debut in the Premier League next season. The striker has now scored 18 goals in 19 international matches for the senior national team.
