As black as the second day of the Australian Open started for our tennis players, Karolína Plíšková started it pink. Karolína Muchová did not do badly either. In an evenly matched match, Barbora Krejcikova won the match.

Barbora Krejčíková was the last of our tennis players to advance. She played against Saisai Zheng, who is 15 places better ranked in the WTA rankings. And it was quite a battle.

Krejcikova won the first set 6::3, but lost the second set 2::6. In the third set, Krejcikova broke the duel in her favour and won it 6: 2, thus 2: 1 in sets. Krejcikova spent almost two and a half hours on the court.
