Great people! Plus ham, bread and beer for less than 4 euro? That’s great. Norwegian fans will not forget the double-duel with Bohemians 1905 and sing an ode on social media
Bohemians 1905 fans left a great impression in the world, especially in Norway. Even though they got 7 goals from Bodo/Glimt, while scoring only 2 themselves, everyone enjoyed the European Cup double after many years.
Bohemians 1905 fans left a great impression in the world, especially in Norway. Even though they got 7 goals from Bodo/Glimt, while scoring only 2 themselves, everyone enjoyed the European Cup double after many years.
After 36 long years, Bohemians made their way to the continental scene again, taking on Norway’s Bodo/Glimt in the 2nd round of the Conference League. However, they chose the Sparta stadium for their home game, where they lost to the Norwegian team 2:4 in the rematch.
They have already played the European competition at Letná. In September 1979, they welcomed the famous Bayern Munich in the UEFA Cup and lost by two goals. It was not possible to use the iconic home Ďolíček, where the Kangaroos have their traditional hard-to-conquer den, and a move elsewhere was necessary.
As now, Bohemians lost by two goals (0:2). But Bayern literally shone with world stars. The 1974 world champion defender Paul Breitner, the future 1990 world champion stopper Klaus Augenthaler, the two-time winner of the Golden Ball of the best footballer in Europe, striker Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the 1980 European champion.
The two-goal defeat was not a disgrace, especially when the Kangaroos took the rematch in Munich and fought out a 2-2 draw.
It’s a great shame, as a travelling fan was captivated by the visit to the Ďolícek, sharing his refreshments on the Away Day Tours Facebook page. “Ham, bread and beer for less than 4 euro,” rejoiced the football fan at the good buy.
Moreover, other fans immediately joined in the praise of the good and cheap snacks, especially Norwegian fans who still cannot forget the recent visit of the Kangaroos.
They were even more delighted on their trip to Prague. Not only did they enjoy the beautiful capital city and celebrate their advancement to the next round, but they were most excited about the atmosphere in Prague.
The Norwegian team, after knocking out Bohemians 1905, met Pyunik and beat them 3:0, thus creating the same lead going into the rematch as they had before the away rematch with the Czech team.
