Now she has sent a clear message to the doubters and has also received a very attractive challenge.

Miesha Tate is one of the greatest legends and pioneers of women’s MMA. She was one of the first ever female fighters in the UFC, and became a champion. However, she retired in 2016 after two losses and for a long time it looked like we would never see her in the cage again.
But after five years, the American beauty returned to the UFC. And she did so victoriously, as she was able to finish Marion Reneau. So despite the long layoff, she showed that she can still potentially have a say in women’s MMA.
She wanted to fight her way to a possible title fight, her confidence returned, only to lose two fights later. And not in a disgraceful way. She was beaten by two still top fighters, Ketlen Vieira and Lauren Murphy.
Six months had passed since her last fight, and there was talk again about whether Tate was still up to the task. But she’s determined to prove that she definitely does. She took to social media to ask fans who she should cut her next fight with.
One response was that she has no one left to prove herself to. While she agrees with that, she wants to prove to herself that she still has it. She’s very determined, which is only good.
There have been several suggestions from the fans for an opponent. Names like Ronda Rousey, Jessica Rose Clark, Raquel Pennington and Holly Holm were mentioned. Understandably, there were also allusions to the 36-year-old fighter’s beauty, and some men would be happy if she set up OnlyFans.
However, a rising star of the new generation of women’s MMA has signed up as an opponent herself. Miranda Maverick. The 25-year-old Springfield native currently has two straight wins and an 11-4 record.
While she doesn’t rank very high in the UFC rankings, it would be an interesting challenge for Tate. For Maverick, on the other hand, it would be a great opportunity to move up in the rankings. Plus, as she says, it would be an honor for her to face a legendary fighter.
