Prague Slavia’s cup journey began today, Thursday 21 July, when they play their match in Gibraltar against St. Josephs from 7pm. And so far, the Stitchers are showing that they are a class better team, with cup scorer Yira Sor hitting a brace, as well as new signing Ewerton.

Slavia scored the first big chance of the opening game of the Conference Europa League in the 12th minute of the first half when Ibrahim Traoré’s shot just missed the left post of the opponent’s goal.

Five minutes later, Moser Usor sent a very dangerous shot towards goalkeeper Rossi Fitzsimons, but even this attempt did not end up behind his back. However, this was not the case four minutes later.

In the 21st minute, Yira Sor found his space – he capitalized on a great pass with a shot under the top bar – 1::0 for Slavia!

The score changed again in the 32nd minute, when Sor took Usor’s pass again and finished off a great action.

The third goal for Slavia was added in the first half by new signing Ewerton, who had to be treated in the 34th minute after a very indiscriminate tackle by Cristian Pecci Macias. However, the referee subsequently awarded him a red card.

Not only mentally St. Josephs are not handling this match so far, the referee also showed a red card to coach Abraham Paz in injury time, who will spend the rest of the match in the stands.

In two simultaneous games, Slavia is the better team at the moment. Although Sparta created a lot of chances against Viking Stavanger, the fans have not seen a goal in this match so far.
