Jakub Jankto then tried a volley, but this time Yann Sommer made the save. The Getafe midfielder also shot in the 34th minute, but the Swiss goalkeeper made a brilliant save. And Jankto regretted his hesitation.

After the change of sides, the Czechs were active, first Adam Hložek wasted a chance and then Vladimír Coufal hit the bar from the ensuing corner. In the 58th minute the stands were already rejoicing. Jankt’s centre was knocked down by a defender to the back post.
