Conor McGregor got badly injured in his fight with Dustin Poirier and the fight ended with the American fighter winning.
McGregor’s words that Poirier would leave the fight on a stretcher did not come true, it was quite the opposite. The Irishman’s ankle was badly sprained and he ended up on the stretcher.
So he’s having surgery this morning and will take a break from MMA for a while. He hasn’t been doing too well lately though, winning only one of his last four fights.
What did the former MMA fighter – Khabib Nurmagomedov say about the fight? As expected, he was rooting for Poirier and was happy about his win.
“Good always beats evil. I’m very happy for Dustin. I hope to get to the title by the end of the year. Conor ended up on the stretcher, just as predicted,” he said.
