Gabon vs. Ghana: Preview and betting tips

Gabon faces a crucial match on Friday in their fight to qualify for the knockout stage of the Africa Cup of Nations. It will face Ghana, who must win given their first round loss. What to expect from the match?

Gabon have made it through the first match of the group stage. They beat the group’s outsiders, Comoros, 1-0. Ex-Spartan Guelor Kanga was in the line-up, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was missing.

Gabon cannot rely on Aubameyang, who is in quarantine because of a coronavirus infection. So the focus is now on the shoulders of Aaron Boupendz, the author of the winning goal against Comoros.

Gabon relies on a well-functioning defence, getting no more than one goal in four of their last six games.
