Fulham vs. Chelsea: Preview and betting tips

Monday’s match of the seventh round of the English Premier League will feature the London derby. Fulham will welcome a struggling Chelsea, who continue to wait for their first away win. Will Mauricio Pochettino’s charges follow up their cup win?

Fulham have won eight points in their opening six league games and are sitting comfortably in mid-table. If it manages to take all three points on Monday, it could move ahead of Manchester United into tenth position.

Chelsea are having one of their worst starts to the season. Mauricio Pochettino’s charges are currently just two points off the relegation places.

However, a large squad is also to blame, with the two-time Champions League winner currently missing Chilwell, Fofana, Nkunku, James, Madueke and Lavia. Jackson and Gusto will also be unavailable due to card penalties.

The Blues would like to build on Wednesday’s cup win against Brighton. In case of a win, the Stamford Bridge side would be within a point of their Monday’s opponent.

Apparently, it is only a matter of time before Chelsea get into a game-winning mood and start picking up points on a regular basis. Chelsea have won eight of their last ten matches. I expect the away side to be happy in the London derby on Monday.
