Fuhrich on the horizon for Bayern Munich! Would he really be a reinforcement?
Chris Fuhrich is performing well on the left wing for Stuttgart. So it is logical that Bayern Munich are interested in the player. However, the question remains whether the player would really be a reinforcement, as several names from history show that coming to Bayern after one good season might not be the right thing to do.

Fuhrich in Stuttgart
He joined the team back in 2021 for €2.5 million from Paderborn. Until this season, it was not a great deal. The German winger could barely manage 10 points per season and a transfer to better teams was out of the question. Change came only this season.
Fulhrich formed an excellent duo with his attacking partner Guirassi. The Senegalese striker already has 25 goals, which puts him just behind Kane at the top of the scorers’ table. The German winger has 7 goals and 7 assists. In addition, Stuttgart are having a fantastic season and are currently competing with Bayern for 2nd place.
Great performances have secured the German interest from both Bayern and Dortmund. According to foreign reports, the player has an exit clause of 23.5 million euros during the summer, which would be almost peanuts for Bayern. Dortmund reportedly cannot afford the player, leaving only the Bavarian big club in the game.
Warnings from the past
As is well known, Bayern acquire players from smaller Bundesliga sides and nurture them into true superstars. Clear examples are Leon Goretzka or Joshua Kimmich, who have become star players at Bayern.
On the other hand, however, Bayern has also shown transfer blunders recently. The most recent ones are Marc Roca and Corentin Tolisso. Both players are starting in the central midfield position and neither has been able to make a name for themselves. Yes, they came to the club at a very young age, but for a lot of money. Neither player can be found in the team anymore.
Does Bayern have a place for Fuhrich?
The next question is where to go with Fuhrich? There is quite a glut in the wing positions. Sané, Gnabry, Coman or Tel are all players who can start on the wing. It is almost clear that no coach will give Fuhrich a chance in front of these players, who is also not used to the pressure of winning every week.
On top of that, the new coach is still unknown. Making transfers without the new coach’s knowledge and buying players he doesn’t want could prove fatal at the club. So Bayern should think more about buying similar players. The next weeks or months will tell if Fuhrich will see a big transfer or if he will stay in Stuttgart.
