France vs. Switzerland: Preview and betting tips

Reigning world champion France will start their playoff journey with another trophy against Switzerland. The French emerged from the Group of Death as winners with five points, while the Swiss advanced from third place.

Although France won the group of death with five points ahead of Germany and Portugal, they did not outplay any opponent, including Hungary (1: 1). However, it also did not suffer a defeat, which may strengthen Les Bleus players ahead of the knockout phase.

Although France may appear to be playing below their capabilities, Deschamps is betting on a system that works. It is based on a solid defensive system, from which the attacking stars come out in deadly counter-attacks.
