The new Formula 1 season is just around the corner and instead of Australia it will start with the Bahrain Grand Prix. When will it take place, what is the schedule and where to watch the race?

The new Formula One season will kick off with the Bahrain Grand Prix. It was supposed to start in Australia, but due to the coronavirus, this race has been postponed to another date.

Formula 1 drivers will take to the Bahrain circuit for the first time on 26 March, when the first two practice sessions are scheduled.

A third practice session and qualifying will take place on Saturday 27 March.

The race is scheduled for Sunday 28 March.

Lewis Hamilton, who has dominated two of the last three races at this circuit, will surely be among the main favourites to win.
