Are you looking for a place to send your children to a summer suburban camp? Zdeněk Šenkeřík, former footballer of Slavia, Jablonec, Bohemians, Banik and Malatyaspor, is organising the fourth year of his camp for young footballers.
Šenkeřík has had more success in his career, but two things come to mind most in connection with his name. He is Slavia’s first ever Champions League goal scorer and he also invented his own dribble, which the UEFA international association will model after in an instructional video on technique training.
And now your children can see these tricks live. Zdeněk Šenkeřík is organising the fourth edition of his football camp, which focuses on improving individual skills. An activity that is somewhat neglected in Czech football.
“Dear children, dear parents, together with the whole implementation team we have prepared a football suburban camp for girls and boys aged 6-13 for the holidays. Our goal for this time spent together, full of games, competitions, fun and entertainment, is… To improve your individual football skills, physical talent, teamwork and other equally important elements for your sporting growth,” says Šenkeřík about his camp.
“We believe that in this beautiful football environment near the Vltava River you will spend a week full of enthusiasm and joy in your favorite game called FOOTBALL. We are also preparing for you to meet several football personalities who will be happy to talk to you and share a few words about where and how their football career started and what they had to dedicate to football to achieve their goal,” adds Šenkeřík.
The suburban camps will take place from 10-14 July and 24-28 July. The camp will be held at the Chvatěruby tourist centre, which is located just 25 kilometres from the centre of Prague.
Children will be provided with drinks throughout the day, a light snack on arrival, lunch and an afternoon snack. Fruit and vegetables will be provided for the children.
There will be a programme for children from 8am to 4pm. During the day, the young footballers will have two training sessions and two competitions and tournaments.
