Former Barcelona stars to team up at Inter Miami! Busquets has already arrived to join Messi, Jordi Alba is speculated to be on his way

Not many people would have expected this just a few months ago. Inter Miami snagged Lionel Messi and showed there is another way than the Saudi way. However, Sergio Busquets has also arrived for the Argentine and quite possibly another player who was one of Barcelona’s stars is on his way.

In recent months and weeks, what many may have feared is happening. Former stars of European football are heading to Saudi Arabia at the end of their careers.

Many may be even earlier, but the money on offer from the sheikhs is simply irresistible to many. But Lionel Messi has shown that there is another way and it is possible that some footballers will follow him.

Instead of playing football in Saudi Arabia, he has chosen the USA, more specifically the Inter Miami team, which has not existed for many years, yet wants to be competitive in MLS. He has now confirmed this by bringing in Messi’s former teammate.

Inter’s new player is Sergio Busquets, a thirty-four-year-old midfielder whose entire career has been linked to Barcelona. Moreover, he was its captain after Messi left for PSG.

But after fifteen long years, he has decided to make a change and he is not the only one. Jordi Alba has also ended up at Barcelona and it seems he could reunite with his former teammates.

At first, it looked like an engagement in the Arab world, but Messi and Busquets were supposed to be the reason why he finally decided on Miami, although still nothing is officially confirmed.

Barcelona fans would thus have a new favourite club, because watching their favourite players together again is simply very tempting. Plus, it’s being played at a time when European football is sleeping.
