Foolishness? Barcelona plans to sell five players to afford Haaland

Barcelona is currently in an economic crisis and cannot sign any big star. However, the club’s management is not willing to accept this and plans to sell five of its players to potentially buy Haaland!
It seems like a fling. Due to the economic crisis, Barcelona have to cut the salaries of their players, then the club’s biggest legend Lionel Messi had to leave in the summer. Even so, it is now considering signing a star player.
But how to do it when the club does not have enough money in its coffers? Barcelona’s management has come up with a plan to sell five players in order to pursue the purchase of Haaland.
The sacrificed players would be Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Neto, Clement Lenglet and Martin Braithwaite.
While these are players who are not brimming with the best of form, it is still a five-man squad whose sale could soon backfire on Barcelona. And in the situation the club is currently in, this move represents a huge risk.
Sacrificing five players to sign one seems like madness. However, Barcelona are planning to build a team around Haaland, which on the other hand would mean that they want to play one player again. Just like in the case of Messi.
Moreover, Erling Haaland can only choose from the offers. Virtually all the big European clubs are interested in him. He has exceptional shooting instincts for his age, and every club wants to have such an end player in their ranks.
So the question is whether Haaland will want to join a club that is going through a player turnover and cannot offer him financially what most other clubs can.
