First goal in the league? It was worth it! Watch Mwepu’s shot that beat goalkeeper Alisson

Zambian Mwepu scores his first Premier League goal for Brighton. And it couldn’t have been nicer! With an exhibition shot, he gave Alisson in the Liverpool goal no chance.
Twenty-three-year-old midfielder Enock Mwepu made his first appearance in the jersey of his current employer after his summer transfer from Red Bull Salzburg.
Thanks to his strike, Brighton managed to draw 2-2 at Anfield Road. It is not easy to get points against Liverpool this season, which is why the draw is more than valuable.
Mwepu came to the fore in the 41st minute of the match, when he was on the end of a nice combination of the visiting team. After a pass from Marche, he didn’t mess around and sent a shot from the first towards the goal guarded by Brazilian Alisson.
The action consisted of thirty-one touches contained within fourteen passes involving seven Brighton players. The attack lasted just over half a minute, the best part being Mwepu’s shot.
The goal, however, was not the only thing Mwepu used to pull his team through. He maintained a high pass success rate (87.5%) against a strong opponent, and was also relatively successful in the statistics of successful passes in the attacking third of the pitch (75%) or successful tackles (60%).
The man who was nicknamed “The Computer” in Salzburg certainly has a lot to offer Brighton fans!
