Since this season the rule about goals scored on away pitches is abolished, we might not see a very tactical duel.
Anyway, we probably can’t expect any shootout. Both teams are struggling offensively this spring, Slavia didn’t score a goal in the first two games, they didn’t even have a shot on target against Sparta. Their first and only goal came against Slovácko from Ondrej Lingr.
Fenerbahce is not much better. It won 2::1 at the weekend, but before that it lost twice and drew once (0::1, 0::1, 1::1).
The top scorer of Slavia in the Conference League is Jan Kuchta, who scored three times in the regular season. Behind the former striker is Ivan Schranz, who has 2 goals. Alexander Bah also has an interesting record, scoring one goal and setting up two.
Fenerbahce played the Europa League regular group, Mergim Berisha scored twice, Enner Valencia scored twice. Yandas, Meyer and Özil added one goal each.
Fenerbahce and Slavia have never met before, so this will be the first time they have measured their strengths against each other. Given the offensive potential of both teams, I don’t expect a shootout.
Two goals or less have fallen in all three of Slavia’s spring games. In Fenerbahce it was the case in 4 of the last 6 games. That’s why I expect the same scenario now.
