Fc Torino vs. Lazio: Preview and betting tips
FC Torino with David Zima will welcome Lazio Roma on Thursday. The table neighbours go into the match in different moods, with the home side winning since the national break and the visitors looking for form.
FC Torino with David Zima will welcome Lazio Roma on Thursday. The table neighbours go into the match in different moods, with the home side winning since the national break and the visitors looking for form.
Torino have picked themselves up after two defeats to start the season and jumped to tenth place in the incomplete table after 4::0 and 1::0 wins. David Zima’s good performance and an assist helped the team to victory over Salernitana, then he sat out the game against Sassuolo on the bench.
Lazio are one point better off. Empoli and Spezia were beaten as expected, but then lost to AC Milan and only drew with Cagliari. They are eighth in the table, two points behind fifth-placed AS Roma.
The mainstay of the home team is Saša Lukić, the Serbian international has scored once and assisted once so far. Andrea Belotti, the team’s main offensive weapon, scored in the first round against Atalanta, but then got injured and will not be available against Lazio either.
It is the Romans who have their goal scorer healthy, Ciro Immobile already has five league goals. Serbian all-rounder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is also shining, he has scored once himself in addition to two assists.
Torino’s defence has been working well since the September national break, with neither Sassuolo nor Salernitana giving them a goal. This does not suit Lazio, who have scored just two goals in three games in September.
With all the mainstays recovered, I expect the Roman side to win this time.
