There has been a lot of talk about Ansu Fati lately, with Manchester United and Arsenal being heavily interested. However, for coach Xavi, the Spanish winger is the future of Barcelona and he doesn’t even want to hear about his departure.

At 20 years old, Fati is still a very young player and a hope for Barcelona. However, he is still not happy with his minutes as he is not getting as many opportunities as in previous seasons.

Therefore, it is not surprising to see his frustration as he should have been the mainstay of the team at this time. Unfortunately, his development has been hampered by injury and a very successful transfer window for the Spanish club.

In the summer, Barcelona brought in Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, who seized their first opportunity at the Camp Nou. Together with the excellent Dembélé, they now form a cohesive attacking trio, in which unfortunately Fati has no place.

Despite his current dissatisfaction, Fati has not yet entered into talks about a potential transfer. However, developments at the club are being closely watched by some European clubs who would be interested in the young Spaniard. Among them, for example, are Arsenal with Manchester United.

Fabrizio Romano came up with the information that the Spanish winger is unhappy. But according to the Italian journalist, Barcelona strongly disagree with the transfer. And no wonder, as they have invested their future in Fati.

The 20-year-old striker is running on a seven-year contract at Camp Nou, so the only way to achieve a transfer will be to activate the exit clause, which is set at a sum of one billion euros. Negotiations between the clubs are unlikely to produce any result.

Ansu Fati is unsellable, just like everyone else in the team. He is a very important player and we expect a lot from him. We shaped this team according to who I wanted.”

Barcelona have been very successful this season, having struggled on all fronts so far. In the Spanish Cup, they face Real Madrid in the semifinals and have an eight-point lead in the league table.

They will then face Manchester United in the Europa League, whom they will face for the first time since 2019, when the Catalans knocked them out of the Champions League after wins of 3-0 and 1-0.

So Fati must remain patient and wait for his chance, which will undoubtedly come, after all, he is the youngest among the attacking players.
