Exemplary behaviour of Stavanger fans: they even cleaned up after themselves after the game
Prague’s Sparta entered the Conference Europa League with a draw against Norway’s Stavanger and they will go into the rematch with a clear goal – to win. And apart from the game itself or the course of the match, we can also evaluate the fans of the visiting team, who have converted something that is absolutely unprecedented in our country.

A good group of Stavanger fans arrived at Letná in connection with Thursday’s European Conference League match, while over 100 Viking fans found their way from Norway to the Czech Republic.
Although they were not very audible at Sparta’s home stadium despite the excellent atmosphere, they showed gentlemanly behaviour and cleaned up their sector after the match.
“As usual, we brought garbage bags with us and cleaned the whole sector. We filled five bags in total. The crew that cleaned up after us told us afterwards that they had never seen anything like it before,” said Roy Steffensen, a Viking fan, on his Twitter account.
Objectively, we can note that this is something that goes beyond the classic behaviour of fans not only in our stadiums, but almost everywhere in the world.
The opening match of the Conference Europa League preliminary round ended in a goalless draw and Sparta will have a tough rematch on the artificial grass of Stavanger.
So the question is, will Spartans clean up their sector in return after the rematch in Norway? That will take place next week on 28 July. And one thing is already certain. To advance, Sparta must win.
