Excellent news for Jiří Procházka fans! The fight with Teixeira could happen as early as May

Jiri Prochazka should fight for the UFC title according to the latest information! Moreover, the fight with Glover Teixeira should take place in May at a tournament in Brazil, where Teixeira is at home.

After his win over Jan Blachowicz, Glover Teixeira has chosen Czech Jiri Prochazka as his next opponent, who has won two fights in the UFC so far.

It’s more or less a foregone conclusion that he will face Teixeira for the title, thanks in part to Aleksandar Rakic’s fight with Blachowicz.

However, it was uncertain when the fight would happen, as the Brazilian veteran wanted to take his time with the rest. But now everything is clearer.

“Pleasing news this morning. Everything is going well and hopefully he will be out soon,” Prochazka’s coach Martin Karaivanov tweeted.

So it looks like a deal should be close. Since Teixeira wanted to fight at home, the fight with Prochazka should happen on May 7, when the UFC tournament in Brazil is scheduled.

That’s where Justin Gaethje’s fight with Charles Oliveira will take place. If both fights happen, the tournament will be very busy indeed.
