The football EURO has just started, but on the second day of the championship we already know the winners. Apart from Christian Eriksen, the winner is clearly the Danish captain Simon Kjaer and the paramedics who saved the 29-year-old footballer’s life in a flash.
The football EURO has just started, but on the second day of the championship we already know the winners. Apart from Christian Eriksen, it is clearly the Danish captain Simon Kjaer and the rescuers who saved the 29-year-old footballer’s life in a flash.
Simon Kjaer, this is the guy Eriksen may thank for the rest of his life. For it was the Danish captain and his teammate who saved him with his incredibly prompt behaviour.
The moment Eriksen went down, everyone present was in total shock. But not Simon Kjaer, who was absolutely amazing. He immediately rushed to his teammate, made sure his tongue wasn’t stuck, ensured he was in the right position, started cardiac massage and immediately called the paramedics.
He then ordered teammates to surround Eriksen so that the media could not occupy the Danish footballer’s treatment. He then went to comfort Christian Eriksen’s girlfriend, who was logically completely paralyzed. A true hero.
Another huge thank you to the paramedics who rushed to Eriksen’s side and saved his life with the help of a defibrillator.
High praise must also go to the head referee, Anthony Taylor, who immediately put the game on hold with spirit and summoned professional help.
In the worst moment of Eriksen’s life, everyone around him did the right thing and that is the only great happiness. Thanks to the people mentioned above, Eriksen is still with us.
