England have only drawn with Scotland and are second ahead of their last group game. If it wants to move out of first place, it must beat the Czech Republic, because it has a goal worse score.

Che Adams had the first chance of the game in the fourth minute, but his attempt was blocked by John Stones. Stones could have put England in front moments later, but his header only hit the left post.

29. harry Kane’s header in the last minute was not enough. A dull second half was interrupted by a nice shot from Stephen O’Donnell, but it was cleared by Jordan Pickford.

After that, nothing interesting happened until half-time, so it was 0:0.

The second half opened with a shot from Mason Mount that had to be saved by David Marshall. The English went for the opening goal, but the Scottish defence was excellent. But the Blues were also attacking.

In the 62nd minute, a Lyndon Dykes header had to be cleared off the line by Reece James.

Fifteen minutes later, Adams found himself with a great opportunity after an Andrew Robertson centre, but missed the ball perfectly. At the end, the Scots did not pursue, but they defended the goalless draw.
