Emery is on standby waiting for an official offer from Newcastle. What is his take on the speculation?

“All I can say is that they have shown interest in me, but I don’t have any information other than that,” the Spanish coach told Movistar after Tuesday’s game.

Emery went on to say that he has not yet received any official offer and will prepare for the next game against Getafe.

“If that happens, I will go and talk to Fernando Roig (club president). I haven’t opened but I haven’t closed any doors either, I’ll discuss everything with Fernando and the club. I can’t say more on that,” Emery finished on the subject of Newcastle.

Now the only question that remains is whether the management of the English club has someone other than Emery at the top of the list of new coaches. One can assume that Newcastle would not reject the Spanish coach!
