Porto, Atlético Madrid, Monaco, Manchester United, Chelsea, Galatasaray. Radamel Falcao boasts a truly extensive CV. He’s shot it hardest in Spain, where he probably feels most comfortable as a Colombian.
In the 2011/12 season, he netted 24 league goals in 34 games for Atlético. He added 12 goals in 15 Europa League games. A year later, he was back in the league in 34 games, but he scored 28 goals.
But then he wandered all over Europe, returning to the Iberian Peninsula at the end of his career. And it was a great move.
the 35-year-old striker signed for La Liga newcomer Rayo Vallecano. For the first time, Falcao came on for 15 minutes against Getafe and raised the score to 3-0. On the ground of the strong Athletico Bilbao, the Colombian went on the pitch for 20 minutes and scored the winning goal in the 96th minute to make it 2: 1.
Against Cádiz, he was already in the starting line-up and rewarded his coach with a winning goal. Vallecano eventually won 3-1 and after seven rounds are in an incredible fifth place with 13 points. Behind them are Barcelona, Betis, Valencia and Villarreal.
