Eindhoven vs. Go Ahead Eagles: preview and betting tips
The most interesting game the day before Christmas Eve will be the Dutch league. PSV Eindhoven will welcome the Go Ahead Eagles. Will they confirm their role as favourites?

Eindhoven is having a great league season. It is at the top of the table, one point ahead of the upstart Ajax. It has won six of its last seven games, with its only loss coming against Ajax.
The Go Ahead Eagles, on the other hand, are struggling. They have lost three of their last five Eredivisie games and have dropped to 11th place. They are six points clear of the relegation places, so they can rest easy for now.
The home side are led by left winger Cody Gakpo, the 22-year-old Dutchman has scored nine goals and assisted nine in all competitions. Portugal’s Bruma has netted seven times and assisted twice.
Inigo Cordoba is firing it up in the away jersey, he has made seven appearances so far, adding one goal and one assist. Central midfielder Luuk Brouwers has entered the scorers’ list five times as a goal scorer and once as an assist.
While Eindhoven can rely on their goal attack, the defensive side is definitely not running like clockwork anymore. Twenty-four goals have been scored, only Vitesse is worse in the Top 7.
The Eagles only conceded three more goals than PSV, on the other hand they scored only nineteen goals themselves. This is the fifth lowest number in the entire Dutch league.
With the visitors’ offensive struggling, I recommend betting on the home side to win with a clean sheet.
