David Dvorak has his last fight in the UFC under his current contract. Even if he wins, he’ll still be figuring out his future, and one of the obvious options is the Oktagon. What did he say about a possible return to the domestic organization?

David Dvorak is not having the best time of his career. After his win over Juancamil Ronderos, there was talk of a title shot, but he had to be even more vocal about it in his next fights.

Today, the situation is different, and absolutely. Dvorak has succumbed to Matheus Nicolau, Manuel Kape and Steve Ercega and now has one last fight to defend his honour.

After that, his UFC contract expires and it’s questionable whether the organization will even be interested in an extension. If not, an offer from the Oktagon will no doubt be on the table.

Promoter Ondrej Novotny has talked about the fact that Dvorak could quite possibly make better money in his organization than in the UFC. After all, here he would be a star and in the UFC he is just one of many.

“Of course, even if I win and there’s a big offer from Ondra, as he says, that people can overpay, it’s something to think about. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to look at home games after four years, but it’s all in the stars,” Dvorak told Kaocko.cz.

“The offer would have to be very high, probably one of the highest ones in the Czech Republic. I’m curious about it, if they keep what they said, that I would be better off with them, I’ll be happy to wait for it,” he added.

The problem may be that Oktagon doesn’t have any flyweight fighters under its banner, which Dvorak falls under. That’s why he may prefer to choose other foreign organizations, which are also among the world’s top.
