Dortmund vs. Hoffenheim: Preview and betting tips
Dortmund will welcome Hoffenheim in Friday’s Bundesliga third round preview. From the table position, the away team goes into the match as the favourite, will they confirm it?
Dortmund will welcome Hoffenheim in Friday’s Bundesliga third round preview. From the table position, the away team goes into the match as the favourite, will they confirm it?
Dortmund have not made an ideal start to the season. They lost 1:3 to Bayern in the German Super Cup and have only three points in the league after two rounds, having lost to Freiburg in the second round.
Hoffenheim, on the other hand, can be satisfied with the start of the season. First they won 4: 0 at Augsburg, then they got a valuable point against Union Berlin (2: 2) and are in a nice second place in the table.
Erling Haaland is the home team’s biggest support, and it is not for nothing that the Norwegian striker is attracting interest from European clubs. The team captain Marco Reus is also enjoying a good start to the season.
In Hoffenheim, Jacob Bruun Larsen is firing on all cylinders, scoring in both Bundesliga rounds. Andrej Kramaric has a big part in the six goals scored by the Blues this season, the Croatian winger has four assists.
Dortmund’s defence has not worked at all so far, getting more than one goal in all three competitive games.
That plays into the hands of the visitors, who have scored at least two goals in each of their last four games.
Given the quality of both teams’ offenses, I think Dortmund will win and score at least three goals
