The incident between Ondrej Kudela and Glen Kamara is known almost all over the football world. Sparta Prague plays Rangers in less than two weeks. Kamara’s lawyer is warning Rangers fans against travelling to Prague, saying they are in danger. But is that true?
On 30 September, Sparta Prague will host Rangers FC, the Scottish team that Slavia faced six months ago, and the return match in Scotland will be remembered by the fans of the Sešivan team for the rest of their lives.
The incident between Glen Kamara and Ondrej Kudela is known almost all over the football world, but Kamara’s lawyer is still not stopping the waters from swirling.
This time he’s warning Rangers fans not to go to Prague. Why? “I fear for the safety of anyone travelling to Prague – players and fans,” he told the Daily Record.
“It will be dangerous for the players and the fans. I think it’s really risky. I’d be worried about fans going without tickets. It’s not worth taking the risk on your own. A nice trip could turn into a tragedy,” says Anwar.
“I suspect the ultras would seek out Rangers fans who wouldn’t stand a chance. Thebest they can do is stay safe at home,” he concludes.
But is that true? I guess we’ll never know. Yes, there is certainly a chance that there could be a problem, but if fans avoided unnecessary provocation or carrying club items in their way through the city, there would be no danger.
They wouldn’t have been able to get to the stadium anyway due to the stadium being closed, so they can forgive the trip. But Kamara’s lawyer is needlessly swirling a case that many are trying to forget. And that’s just for his own glory.
