Domino’s Pizza brutally mocks Nunez’s inability to score

Darwin Nunez is going through a difficult time at the moment. Bad luck is sticking to his cleats and as Jaromir Jagr once said, he can’t even hit the water from the beach. So he is a big target of jokes not only from fans, but from everyone on social media.

Liverpool spent a huge amount of money to buy Darwin Nunez. Benfica cashed in 80 million euros for their gem, after last season the amount seemed understandable.

After all, in 28 league games he scored 26 goals and added 4 assists. Moreover, he scored six times in ten Champions League games, also against Liverpool, and that too attracted the Reds’ interest.

Against Leicester, he again wasted a couple of chances and he showed up again against Brentford. He had an empty net after a clearance to the goalkeeper, only to fail to score and only hit a returning defender.

The jokes on social media about Nunez’s address thus began to add up even more. Even the Domino’s Pizza chain took a swipe at the Uruguayan striker on Twitter.

“Sorry if we missed any orders today, but this guy is just starting with us, ” Domino’s Pizza tweeted, adding a photo of Nunez.

The question is whether Nunez will break his curse or follow Tim Werner’s case. The German striker was firing sharply in the Bundesliga, but his gunpowder got wet after arriving in the Premier League and he wasted huge chances. So after two years, he preferred to return to Leipzig.
