Divisional Holice will be led by legends of Olomouc Sigma. Will the coaching change help the club?
Since the Olomouc team, formerly inseparably linked with our third highest competition (MSFL), is in the eleventh place in the E division in the current year, the management has made changes in the implementation team. The current coach Alexander Bokij will be replaced by another, no less well-known legend of Sigma Olomouc. Who is it?

To win a better position with the team and to bring a new impulse into the cabin. Oldřich Machala is coming to Holic. The 80-year-old coach is no stranger to the Olomouc team. He led it between 2011 and 2013.
“I have fond memories of my work at the club and I am happy that I will be able to build on it again. The club has excellent facilities and the stadium itself. Also, the playing squad has the potential to achieve much better results on the pitch,”
The former player of Sigma Olomouc or German Hansy Rostock was until recently tied to football duties with the youth in nearby Prostějov, but the negotiations eventually ended to the satisfaction of both parties.
“We were very keen on the coach and we are extremely happy that it turned out this way. We very much appreciate the approach of the management of the Prostějov club, which has released him,” announced Miroslav Šmída, the chairman of the board of 1. HFK Olomouc.
Machala’s assistant will be another of the many legends of Olomouc Sigma, 1996 European Championship medallist Milan Kerbr. Both gentlemen will thus complement, for example, Ladislav Onofreja, who works with the youth.
