Disrespect? According to Coach Djokovic, Nadal hasn’t been playing great tennis. His win doesn’t give me any sleep, Ivanisevic admits

Rafael Nadal has once again confirmed that he is the true king of clay. Despite serious health problems, he dominated Roland Garros, beating Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals. However, the coach of the Serbian tennis player did not praise the performance of the Spanish legend.
It wasn’t easy. Nevertheless, Rafael Nadal made it despite all the difficulties. The king of clay once again dominated Roland Garros. He won his fourteenth trophy at the Paris Grand Slam.
And he certainly didn’t have an easy draw. He was up against Felix Auger-Aliassime, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev and Casper Ruud. He was seen as the underdog against Djokovic. The Serbian was sovereign until then, Nadal had to go through a five-set battle before that.
Moreover, it was known that the Spaniard was suffering from major health problems. However, it was only after the tournament that it became clear how big the problems were. Nadal played most of the tournament with a numb leg.
This made Nadal all the more admired by tennis and sports fans. But Djokovic’s coach, Goran Ivanisevic, was not impressed with the Spanish legend’s performance.
In fact, he commented to the media on Nadal’s match with Djokovic earlier in the week. Nadal had a great start in the match and with the exception of one set, he played absolutely sensational. All the more sensational when we know the condition he was playing in.
“It doesn’t let me sleep until now. I’m not disappointed but sad. The match wasn’t perfect from either side. Rafael didn’t play an exceptional match. However, from the first to the last point, the body language of both tennis players was decisive,” Essentially Sports quoted Ivanisevic as saying.
“I warned Novak. I also told the journalists that the beginning of the match could be decisive. But he still slept through it. And then when he turned the second set around, it was incomprehensible the way he played the third set. It was as if he lacked energy and lacked confidence. You can’t afford that against Rafa because this is his tournament,” he added.
