David Dvorak will not fight in December! He won’t fight the Chinese in the UFC until February
David Dvorak was supposed to have his fourth fight in the UFC in December, but it won’t happen. The organization gave him two options, either he will get a different opponent on the same date, or the opponent will be the same, but not until February.
David Dvorak was supposed to have his fourth fight in the UFC in December, but it won’t happen. The organization gave him two options, either he will get a different opponent on the same date, or the opponent will be the same, but not until February. Dvorak opted for option two and we won’t see him fight again this year.
David Dvorak is a UFC 100 percent. First he beat Bruno Silva, then Jordan Espinosa and last but not least Juancamil Ronderos.
The fourth fight was supposed to take place in December, a fight with China’s Su Mudaerji, but he was injured and would not make the December date. So the match won’t take place until February.
“The UFC has contacted us to see if we’re still interested in the fight. We got two offers. December and a different opponent, the other option was the same opponent in February. We agreed as a team that we had already had the fight on short notice twice. This Chinese is so specific that we don’t want to throw away the preparation,” said Dvorak in an interview with Kaocko.
His December opponent could have been thirty-four-year-old Tim Elliott, who is ranked thirteenth in the UFC rankings, Dvorak and his team decided to fight later.
So what will Dvorak’s current preparation look like? “This whole week I will be more relaxed, the intensity will be very low. We’ll start planning the next training camp, but I’ll still drill the specific things I was good at.
Plus, as I was in Poland, I’m going to other places, so there are still a lot of mistakes I’m making, maybe on the one hand better, I have two more months to fix my mistakes and prepare better,” he added.
