David Dvorak has a 3:0 record in the UFC, which is why he decided to ask the UFC for a contract upgrade. This was successful and the Czech fighter will continue in the organization under much better conditions.
David Dvorak had a 4-fight contract in the UFC, so it would expire after his next fight. However, the Czech fighter wanted to have his future settled earlier.
So he decided to ask for a new and improved contract. He’s been doing well in the flyweight division, winning all three of his fights.
“We wanted a new contract from the UFC and we managed to get it. It’s great to have a secure future for years to come,” he said after signing the contract.
He praised the contract, saying he thinks it is very beneficial. Now he can concentrate on preparing for his next fight, but the date and opponent are not yet known.
“Negotiations with the organization were completely fine. It is obvious that when a person performs well, they count on him in the future, they have their plans for him and that is why they had no problem at all to accommodate us in some things,” he added.
Dvorak’s goal is certainly the title, but he has to work his way through a few more games to get there. He would like to fight later this year.
