Although nothing is officially confirmed, David Dvorak’s next fight in the UFC is coming up. The fighter himself has outlined the date to the public, but has not yet made his opponent known. What is certain, however, is that we will see him fight later this year.
After moving from the Octagon, David Dvorak managed to win three fights under the UFC banner, stretching his unbeaten streak since 2012, when he was defeated by Filip Macek.
Of course, every streak comes to an end and Dvorak’s ended in March this year when he fell to Matheus Nicolau after a three round battle.
After a tough fight he left with a severe concussion, and he also had torn ligaments in his knee, so he had to get well and rest properly.
However, the now 30-year-old fighter is coming back after many months and it is almost certain that we should see him in the cage in 2022!
“Yes, but the UFC hasn’t announced it yet, so I can’t be specific. However, it should actually be in December,” said Dvorak in an interview with iSport.
The date should be December 17, the opponent is logically unknown to the public until the official announcement. Dvorak is already preparing and will travel to the USA 14 days before the actual date.
The tournament will be held in Las Vegas, a week before the UFC will have its fight in Jiri Prochazka, who will defend his welterweight championship belt.
