David De Gea: We were embarrassed! It’s not always just the coach

Manchester United’s Spanish goalkeeper didn’t spare himself and his teammates after another loss. He does not see the reasons for the defeat in coach Solskajer.

The 1:4 defeat at Watford may be the final nail in the coffin of coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Manchester United’s performance has already slipped into the category of unapproachable and humiliating.

This will surely be the case after the last game in which the Red Devils players put on an embarrassing performance. The goalkeeper David De Gea saw their actions in the same way.

“It was really embarrassing what our fans witnessed today,” he said in his post-match interview.

“The performance today against Watford is unacceptable. We could have been 4-0 down after the first half, it was unwatchable ,” he lamented.

The Spanish goalkeeper also expressed his belief that not everything is the fault of coach Solskjaer.

“It would be easy to blame our results on the coach. We are trying to play to the best of our abilities, to perform at our best, but something is clearly wrong,” he concluded his interview with talkSPORT.
