It’s right here. World Cup qualification continues and the Czech Republic will host Wales in Eden. The favourites will be Jaroslav Šilhavy’s charges. What are the odds and what to bet on?
The first place in our qualifying group seems to be decided. Belgium has 16 points after six rounds, while the Czech Republic (5 games) and Wales (4 games) have only 7 points.
But getting three points will not be easy for the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic has failed to score against Wales in three of their four matches, winning only once, falling once and two matches ending in 0:0 draws.
Moreover, the last meeting, which took place in March this year, ended with Wales winning 1:0.
However, the absence of Gareth Bale, who is a key player for Wales, is a big advantage. This means that Šilhavy’s selection does not have to deal with any major and fundamental absence. In addition, Patrik Schick returns, who is in great form.
So a lot of punters are not afraid to bet on Schick to start in the starting line-up, score a goal and the Czech Republic to win. The odds of 3.01 are certainly tempting.
However, you definitely can’t expect a goal-scoring game, so even a bet on the number of goals can be a kind of a safe bet.
