Czech Republic vs. Estonia: Preview and betting tips

The Czech national team needs to win by at least two goals to finish in second place, while hoping for a Welsh defeat against Belgium. However, to score enough to finish in the top six of the second-placed teams, they will ideally need to win by at least three goals.

The Estonians have tackled the role of group outsiders and are putting in a decent performance. They took a point from Wales, beat the Belarusians and scored only three goals less than the Czechs. Tomáš Souček and co. will not have an easy time of it.

Jakub Pesek is in good form in the home camp, the league’s most productive player scored twice in Thursday’s friendly against Kuwait. Ales Mandous is also doing well, keeping five clean sheets in a row through all competitions.

The Estonians rely on goals from Rauno Sappinen, the skilful striker has scored six national team goals since the start of 2020. Central midfielder Matthias Kait boasts a 3+3 record.

The Czechs boast a punchy attack, scoring eleven times in their last three games.

On the other hand, the Estonians have worked on their defensive phase, catching the ball out of the net only five times in the last five games.

Given the good form of Pesek and Antonin Barak, I think the Czechs will win by at least three goals.
