The Czech national football team will play one preparatory match before its last qualifying match for the World Cup. It will take place in Olomouc on 11 November against Kuwait.

The Czech Republic will play its preparatory match in Olomouc, where the national team of Kuwait will visit as an opponent. It will be the penultimate match of our national team in this calendar year.

Šilhavý spoke about the preparatory match at the press conference.: ”We are not playing for points, but we can try out players and new tactics. A few days later we have a match against Estonia. In March we will have the barrage.”

The preparatory match will be played on 11 November, five days later the national team will play Estonia in the last qualifying match. Jaroslav Šilhavy’s team is in second place, which guarantees qualification for the barrage.

If our team wins the match in Estonia, they don’t have to worry about missing the barrage. In case of a draw or a loss, they have to watch Wales’ matches. They are third in the table and have the same number of points.

The Czech national team has already faced Kuwait twice in the past. In 1982, back then as Czechoslovakia, they drew 1-1 with Kuwait. It was a World Cup match. The second match took place in 1995, our team won 2:1, here it was a preparatory match.
