Čvančara will be the king of goal scorers, believes Gladbach captain. How many goals do German fans think he will score?

Does Tomas Cvančara have a chance to win the Bundesliga scoring crown in his first season? According to the Borussia Mönchengladbach captain, it is certainly possible, and Lars Stindl believes in his new teammate. The Bild newspaper’s poll also speaks very positively about Cvanciar.

Čvančara had a dream season at Sparta last season. He won the championship title, scored twelve goals and his performances earned him a foreign loan.

Borussia Mönchengladbach eventually showed interest in his services, which is where Čvančara also transferred to before the start of this season. And so far, the former Sparta Prague forward is doing well.

He has already scored six goals in the preparation. He scored one in the match against Saarbrucken, which Borussia won 2-1. After that, he scored a hat-trick against Stuttgart (5: 1) and most recently scored two goals in the cup at Bersenbruck.

However, the Borussia Mönchengladbach captain is betting on another name. Yes, that’s right, Lars Stindl has named Cvančara as the future top scorer.

It should be noted, Bild also mentions that in their poll their readers also saw Cvančara as one of the top scorers. According to them, the twenty-three year old striker could stop at eleven to fifteen goals.

The striker of the tenth-placed team in the German top flight last season would not be far away from the crown of top scorer. The top scorers of the 2022/23 season, namely Christopher Nkunku and Füllkrug, scored 16 goals each.
