Crystal Palace vs. Brighton: Preview and betting tips
Crystal Palace will face a nasty Brighton in Monday’s Premier League round six match. The latter is unexpectedly doing well so far, being sixth and winning four out of five rounds. Can it do it a fifth time?
Crystal Palace will face a nasty Brighton in Monday’s Premier League round six match. The latter is unexpectedly doing well so far, being sixth and winning four out of five rounds. Can it do it a fifth time?
Crystal Palace can be happy with their start to the season despite a tough draw. It has five points after five rounds, having already played Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham. They are 14th in the table, two points clear of the relegation zone.
Brighton are even better off. It has four wins, is playing good football and was in the top four before the start of the sixth round.
Crystal Palace rely on Conor Gallagher, the skilful central midfielder was named the club’s player of the month. Wilfried Zaha was not to be forgotten, he scored against Tottenham to secure a vital three points.
Belgian winger Leandro Trossard has two goals for Brighton, while shield Yves Bissouma is also a mainstay. Central defender Shane Duffy is also doing well after returning from his loan spell.
Crystal Palace rely on a good defensive performance, only getting more than one goal in two of their last five games. Brighton’s attack is working, scoring at least two goals in five of their seven games this season.
With both teams’ attacks working well, I recommend a bet on both Brighton and Crystal Palace to score.
