The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is taking shape. The preliminary group draws were made on Friday and most of the teams that will appear in the tournament are known. We also know the specific dates and times of each match.
The2022 World Cup in Qatar is taking shape. The preliminary group draws were made on Friday and most of the teams that will appear in the tournament are known. We also know the specific dates and times of each match.
The group stage will begin on November 21 at 11:00 a.m. CET with the opening match played between the Netherlands and Senegal and will run until December 2 with four matches per day. The eight-final matches will take place immediately afterwards, from 3 to 6 December.
Then there will be a couple of rest days before the quarter-finals, which are played on 9 and 10 December. The two semi-finals will be played on December 13 and 14, and the World Championship will culminate with the third and fourth place matches on December 17. The Christmas present of the grand final is scheduled for December 18.
The four daily group stage matches will be played at 11::00, 14::00, 17::00 and 20::00 CET, except for the last group matches, which will be played at two times, namely 16::00 and 20::00.
The semi-finals and quarter-finals are also scheduled at 16:00 and 20:00 CET with two matches per day. The semifinals will then be played on two consecutive days at 20:00. The final matches for third place and for the King of the whole tournament is scheduled for 16::00.
