Champions League
Coefficient after Thursday: Horrible week doesn’t have that much impact (yet), problem would be going into spring without a representative
The group stage of the European Cup is halfway through and the Czech teams cannot be satisfied with the results yet. In the third week of play they have not gained a point, how has this affected their position in the coefficient ranking?

The twelfth place, which guarantees direct promotion to the Champions League group, is still held by the Norwegians. They have one representative in both the Europa League and the Conference Europa League. They currently have 28.25 points and divide their points by four.
Thirteenth place belongs to the Czech Republic, as it did a week ago, but due to the zero points of Plzen, Slavia and Slovácko, they have accumulated a loss. It is already 0.7 points behind the Norwegians, which is a win and a draw. Slavia in particular have been disappointing so far, with only four points in a paper-weak group.
But the countries behind us are also struggling. The Swiss, holding 14th place, have Zurich (EL) and Basel (EKL) in their groups. Basel are so far rocking in the easy Conference League group, they are first, despite losing to Slovan Bratislava. The Swiss also divide their points by four and are only 0.125 points behind the Czechs (one draw).
The Ukrainians continue their slump after last year’s unsuccessful season, suffering from the poor form of Dynamo Kiev. From 15th place they are 0.65 points behind the Czechs, which is one win and one draw in a division of five. In any case, the top 15 guarantees the runners-up Champions League qualification.
On the other hand, the Danes and the Turks are doing decently. The Danes have three clubs in the group and are 1.725 points behind the Czechs (four wins, one draw, divided by five), while the 17th-placed Turks are already only 1.85 points behind the Czechs (five wins, divided by five) thanks to four representatives in the group.
The eighteenth-ranked Croatians and the nineteenth-ranked Greeks are probably out. The Croats have only Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League, the Greeks only Olympiakos Piraeus in the Europa League. Both are separated by four and Olympiakos in particular has started the group in a terrible way. It is on zero points.
