The 2021/22 Champions League final was supposed to be played in St Petersburg, but due to Russia’s incursion into Ukraine, UEFA has moved the most watched football match of the year to Paris.

In the quarter-finals, the teams will play a classic two-match, home-away style. Likewise in the semi-finals, only the final will be decided by a single match.

The first duels of the Champions League quarter-finals will be played on 5 and 6 April. The return legs are scheduled for 12 and 13 April. The semi-final matches will be played on 26 and 27 April, and the rematches on 3 and 4 May. The winner of the Champions League will be decided at the Stade de France on 28 May.

Villarreal – Bayern Munich
Benfica – Liverpool
