Chelsea vs. Manchester United: Preview and betting tips
The highlight of this round will be Chelsea’s match against Manchester United. That is, a clash of two teams that have always been tied in recent matches. Will the Blues keep their fourth place on Saturday or will they hand it over to the Red Devils?

Chelsea haven’t lost since Graham Potter arrived and this streak of 5 wins and 2 draws spans 7 games – 4 Premier League and 3 Champions League. The 13:2 scoreline speaks for itself!
But the 47-year-old English coach is about to be tested by the first English giant in his new role. It will also be interesting because Erik ten Hag has already faced his Saturday rival on the bench once this season and that was right at the start of the Premier League, when Brighton won 1: 2 at Old Trafford.
Now Potter has a much better team at his disposal, one that is in very good form. You could say it would be an easy job for Chelsea, but…
Manchester United have only lost to Chelsea once in their last 11 games. They have also done well against top teams, beating Arsenal, Liverpool and most recently Tottenham.
But if we have to look for a weakness somewhere, it is definitely the lack of a productive striker on Chelsea’s side and the fact that coach Potter is still looking for the ideal line-up when the attacking ranks are rotating a lot.
Manchester United are in a similar position, but they are a bit further along in that regard, I would say. The fact that the English coach wants his players to be active and keep the ball may be an advantage. This is also evidenced by the second highest percentage of ball possession after Manchester City – 57.9%.
Such opponents then are easy prey for the fast Red Devil players lately and one could say that it suits them. This is where the road to victory could lead for the visiting team.
However, if they pile on the mistakes, as they did in the first round of the Premier League this season, it will end in failure once again. However, a fifth draw in a row is not at all out of the question this Saturday, and I would opt for either that or an away defeat!
