Chelsea fans are running out of patience! In the Manchester City debacle, they invoked the names of former coach Tuchel and ex-owner Abramovich
Chelsea entered the new season under new owners. It was expected that they would be a bit more patient with the coaches. Especially as they regarded Thomas Tuchel as the man they could build the whole project around. But the opposite is true and now they may well be regretting it. Fans are running out of patience.

Thomas Tuchel entered the new season as Chelsea coach with a great deal of confidence from the new owners. But after seven competitive games he was sacked, with three ending in victory and three in defeat.
The loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League finally broke his grip. However, Todd Boehly and co. found a quick replacement in Graham Potter, who did not do badly at Brighton. And he’s off to a great start.
In the first nine games, Chelsea have not lost under the English strategist. They even boasted a run of five wins in a row. But the joy has worn off. Before the World Cup, the Blues fell three times in a row. The hope was that things would be better after the break. But no.
Of the four competitive matches since the return of club football, the London side have won only once. Against Bournemouth. This was followed by a draw with Nottingham and two losses to Manchester City, 0-1 in the league and 0-4 in the FA Cup.

So Chelsea are out of the FA Cup, and in November they were knocked out of the League Cup. In the league we find them in 10th position with 25 points. Fourth-placed Manchester United has 10 points more. A league record of 20:19 is also not something the Blues want to boast about.
Fans understandably want to see better results, but also performances that are certainly not adequate. So they made that clear in the cup game against the Citizens and not only coach Graham Potter but also Todd Boehly, the club’s owner, will not sleep easy.
In fact, in the last minutes of the match, Blues supporters invoked the name of not only former coach Thomas Tuchel, but also Roman Abramovich, the man who put Chelsea among the best clubs not only in England.
However, there are also suggestions that it is simply that Chelsea fans are simply unfamiliar with the rebuilding process, as nothing of the sort has ever actually taken place under Abramovich’s leadership.
