Chelsea have acquired countless expensive players in the last 2 years. It was expected that some players would leave the team either on loan or on transfer, but the opposite happened. Chelsea signed 6 more players right from the edge of the transfer window, although there were doubts due to financial fair-play if anyone would even be able to come.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

This is probably the most famous name on this list. The 25-year-old Englishman has donned the Leicester jersey in both the Premier League and the Championship. Last season, his performances helped the Foxes return to the English elite. 12 goals and 14 assists secured his transfer to Chelsea for €35.5 million.

The English midfielder already knows the Premier League very well, having played 59 games for Leicester. He didn’t record any great productivity in the matches, scoring only 3 goals and 4 assists, but now he is more experienced and in much better form. Dewsbury-Hall could form a very striking duo with Cole Palmer.

Tosin Adarabioyo

The English stopper is one of the few players the club acquired without a transfer fee. At the end of June, Adabariyo’s contract at Fulham expired and a day later he was already reporting to London. The 26-year-old Manchester City-raised stopper should help plug the hole created by the departure of veteran Thiago Silva. With 78 games in the Premier League, he is an experienced and tested midfielder.

Renato Veiga

the 20-year-old Portuguese midfielder only moved from Sporting to Basel for €4 million last year. Only 2 goals and 1 assist in 26 games in Switzerland were enough to get him his dream transfer to a lower quality football competition. Besides Chelsea, Burnley were also interested in the player, but in the end the more famous team won. “I am confident on the ball, I would describe myself as a complete player because of my versatility,” Veiga describes himself.

Marc Guiu

the €6 million Spanish striker, who donned the jersey of Catalan side Barcelona, scored 9 goals last season, adding 4 assists in 27 games. He has even managed to score a goal in the Champions League and in his debut against Bilbao he opened the net after 23 seconds on the pitch. “Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of playing in the Premier League,” the Spaniard mentioned in an interview.

Omari Kellyman

The English midfielder who is only 18 years old cost Chelsea an almost unbelievable 22.5 million euros. The youngster has only played in Aston Villa’s youth teams and it is in the stars if there will be a place for him in the packed squad of The Blues for this season. However, Enzo Maresca has no idea how Kellyman will get to grips with adult football as he has only played over 160 minutes for the A-team at Aston Villa.

Estevao

Only 17-years-old, the Brazilian talent has cost the London club €34 million. However, he won’t report to the club until the start of next season after he turns 18. In the first team of Palmeiras, the Brazilian started 29 matches during which he registered 7 goals and 5 assists. Chelsea can make a lot of money from the talented right winger, but they can also lose money. “Estevao is the best young player since Neymar,”,the Palmeiras coach described his charge.
