Christian Eriksen writes an incredible story. With a magnificent assist, he helped Brentford win. The legendary Cristiano Ronaldo also thrived, finally silencing the critics with a hat-trick.
Eriksen’s Brentford defeated Burnley 2-0 in a rescue match. The former Danish international’s assist came at the perfect moment.
The score was 0:0 until the 85th minute, but then came a beautiful centre that landed right on the head of Ivan Toney, who made no mistake from a perfect position.
Toney sealed the win for the home side in injury time when he converted a penalty in the 94th minute. Brentford moved closer to salvation in the Premier League thanks to Eriksen.
Cristiano Ronaldo also had a good Saturday. He shone against Tottenham when he scored a hat-trick, especially the first goal of the star Portuguese was worth it. See for yourself!
Ronaldo registered his 59th hat-trick in his life thanks to this feat, on the club scene it is hat-trick number 49, unbelievable.
Interestingly, the star striker enjoyed three goals in one game for the 13th consecutive season. The last time Cristiano Ronaldo was without a hat-trick was in 2009.
the 37-year-old legend also became the second oldest hat-trick scorer in Premier League history. Only Teddy Sheringham’s hat-trick in 2003 is ahead of Ronaldo (Sheringham was 37 years and 146 days old at the time, Ronaldo was 37 years and 35 days old on Saturday).
