Most of the teams have been conservative in creating their home jerseys, as is customary. As football fans, it’s hard to imagine if Real Madrid, for example, had a home jersey colour other than white.
So teams have gambled on changing the collar, for example, or changing the actual pattern on the jersey. You can judge for yourself how they did it.
Arsenal
Rating:: 6/10
Adidas didn’t take too many liberties when creating the new jersey for Arsenal. It opted for a classic red and white combination. The jersey is dominated by an imaginatively embellished collar.
Bayern Munich
Rating:: 9/10
Bayern were one of the first European sides to ever unveil new jerseys. The white stripes give the jersey a much-needed boost.
Manchester City
Rating:: 8/10
Puma decided to revive the traditional Citizens jersey with purple stripes to celebrate the club’s recently departed legend Colin Bell. In our opinion, the result is worth it.
Real Madrid
Rating:: 6/10
Real Madrid went with a classic white combination. Fans won’t be offended by this combination, but they won’t be too impressed either.
Juventus
Rating:: 8/10
Juventus have come up with some interesting variations to their home jerseys in recent years. This jersey is no exception to that. Captain Giorgio Chiellini has already managed to say goodbye to Juventus in this jersey.
